Ghiotti Brand Identity

Branding, packaging design, print and digital advertising to promote a new deli foods brand.

Project Overview

We were briefed to help local food importer, European Foods, name and create an identity for a new sliced meats offering.

Through working closely with one of the founders, the Ghiotti brand was born.

The brand needed to have a distinctly European aesthetic, which we achieved through hand crafted illustration and an 'old world Italy' look and feel with a contemporary edge. Ghiotti's sliced meat range was so successful that we expanded it to include olives, canned goods, cheese, chorizo, pasta, gelato, and several more products.

4 years after hitting the shelves, the brand was acquired by Italian food giant Granarolo, and its ever-expanding portfolio is now found in supermarkets around the world.

Print Campaigns

We've worked with Ghiotti on several advertising campaigns, from conception to print. The Ghiotti "Perfectly At Home" campaign was printed in major New Zealand magazines, and features different Ghiotti products which have been "relocated" from their homeland, to become works of art against famous NZ landmarks. Perfectly at home, in your fridge, on your table, with your friends. Ghiotti - 1000 years of tradition, relocated to New Zealand.

Content Marketing

We actively built Ghiotti's social media following with considered, engaging content including recipe videos and social promotions.
